Swarup Naik (8 February 1947 – 27 October 2023; also spelled as Swarup Nayak) was an Odia-language musician, lyricist, singer and actor from Odisha, India. He started his career as a child actor in 1962 through the Odia movie Jayadeba. Through his career, he had received Odisha state film awards twice as the best music-director.
He was born on 8 February 1947 in Cuttack. His elder sister Parbati Ghosh was an eminent Odia actress and the lyricist Sarada Prasanna Nayak is his brother.
After playing a child actor in 1962, he restarted the career in the Odia Movie Industry (Ollywood) in the year 1984 by his music and lyrics through HeeraNeela starring Prashant Nanda and Shriram Panda in lead.
Being a music director he composed music in 41 Odia movies like Swayamsiddha, Kathantara, Prema Rutu Asilare, etc. He had written lyrics for 30 movies, sung and did acting in 6 movies.
On the 27th of October in 2023, he died at the age of 76 due to illness. Before his death, he was under treatment for a while.
ସ୍ୱରୂପ ନାଏକ (୮ ଫେବୃଆରି ୧୯୪୭ – ୨୭ ଅକ୍ଟୋବର ୨୦୨୩; ସ୍ୱରୂପ ନାୟକ ମଧ୍ୟ ଜଣାଶୁଣା) ଜଣେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ କଥାଚିତ୍ର ସଙ୍ଗୀତକାର, ଗୀତିକାର, ପ୍ରଚ୍ଛଦପଟ୍ଟ ଗାୟକ ଓ ଅଭିନେତା ଥିଲେ । ୧୯୬୨ ମସିହାରେ ସେ ଜଣେ ଶିଶୁ କଳାକାର ଭାବରେ ଜୟଦେବ ଜରିଆରେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ କଥାଚିତ୍ର ଜଗତରେ କାମ କରିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ । ୧୯୮୪ ମସିହାରେ ସେ ହୀରାନୀଳା ଜରିଆରେ କଥାଚିତ୍ରରେ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶନା ଦେବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ । ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ସଙ୍ଗୀତକାର ଭାବରେ ସେ ଦୁଇଥର ରାଜ୍ୟ ଚଳଚ୍ଚିତ୍ର ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇଥିଲେ ।
୧୯୪୭ ମସିହାର ଫେବୃଆରୀ ୮ ତାରିଖରେ ସେ କଟକରେ ଜନ୍ମଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ । ଜଣାଶୁଣା ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଅଭିନେତ୍ରୀ ପାର୍ବତୀ ଘୋଷ ତାଙ୍କ ଭଉଣୀ ଓ ଓଡ଼ିଆ କଥାଚିତ୍ର ସଙ୍ଗୀତକାର ସାରଦା ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ନାଏକ ତାଙ୍କ ଭାଇ ।
ସ୍ସେ ଜଣେ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ଭାବରେ ହୀରାନୀଳା, ସ୍ୱୟଂସିଦ୍ଧା, କଥାନ୍ତର, ମନ ରହିଗଲା ତୁମରି ଠାରେ ସମେତ ୪୧ଟି ଓଡ଼ିଆ କଥାଚିତ୍ରରେ ସ୍ୱର ସଂଯୋଜନା କରିବା ସହିତ ୩୦ଟି କଥାଚିତ୍ରରେ ଗୀତ ରଚନା, ୬ଟି କଥାଚିତ୍ରରେ ପ୍ରଚ୍ଛଦପଟ୍ଟ ଗାୟକ ଓ ୬ଟି କଥାଚିତ୍ରରେ ଅଭିନୟ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।
ମନ ରହିଗଲା ତୁମରି ଠାରେ ଓ କଥାନ୍ତର ପାଇଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ରାଜ୍ୟ ଚଳଚ୍ଚିତ୍ର ପୁରସ୍କାରରେ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ପୁରସ୍କାର ମିଳିଥିଲା । ୨୦୦୬ ମସିହାରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବାଇସ୍କୋପ ପୁରସ୍କାର ମିଳିଥିଲା । ବାଣୀଚିତ୍ର ତରଫରୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସମ୍ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ।
୨୦୨୩ ମସିହାର ଅକ୍ଟୋବର ୨୭ ତାରିଖରେ ୭୬ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସରେ ତାଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଥିଲା । ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସେ ଅସୁସ୍ଥତା କାରଣରୁ ଡାକ୍ତରଖାନାରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସିତ ଥିଲେ ।
